History of Oleen Cattle Co.

Hjalmer E. Oleen, purchased three granddaughters of Prince Domino in 1936 that were the foundation for his purebred herd.  H.E.'s son, Carroll, continued raising purebred Herefords throughout his lifetime.  In 1977, two of Carroll and Marjorie Oleen's son's, Glenn and Chuck, formed the Oleen Cattle Co. that continues raising Herefords today.  Chuck's son, Brandon, joined the operation in 2014.

Raising Registered Hereford Cattle

Oleen Cattle Co. founded by brothers Glenn and Chuck Oleen continues in the proud tradition of raising registered Hereford cattle that their grandfather began in 1936.  Our long term breeding philosophy has been to keep Herefords useful to the beef industry and beef consumers.  We strive to produce problem free, physically sound, efficient bulls and females under modest nutritional conditions while maintaining adequate performance and quality for commercial cowmen, feeders, packers and consumers. We'd love to tell you more and help you meet your operation's needs.  Most of our cattle sell private treaty.  Please contact us for more information.
